Under its brand name SCHÄFER IT-Systems, the companies SCHÄFER Gehäusesysteme GmbH and SCHÄFER IT-Logistik GmbH provide their services to the customers. Both companies succeeded the former GDR electronics giant Robotron and were acquired by SCHÄFER Werke KG in Neunkirchen in 1996.

In Dresden, well-known for information technology for years, the company specialised in design and manufacture of PC and server housings, PC assembly and supporting logistics services.

SCHÄFER IT-Systems is a division of SCHÄFER WERKE.

SCHÄFER WERKE GmbH has its head office in Germany’s Siegerland region, on the historic Pfannenberg in Neunkirchen, once the site of Europe’s deepest iron ore mine. From these beginnings, a modern industrial enterprise developed, which has attained international success.
1.200 people at a total of four production locations work to ensure this success is maintained.
Our expertise, from which so many sectors have been able to profit, is rooted in many years of experience and a market-oriented approach to business through intensive co-operation with our customers.
But one thing has always remained the same at SCHÄFER: the company is still owned and run by the family.
